Conergy Pty Ltd has opened its new office and warehouse facility in the south eastern state of Victoria, further augmenting its investment and commitment to Australia.
“The opening of our latest state office is a demonstration of Conergy’s sustained investment in the region and signifies the solar market’s growth potential we see in Australia. We believe that the extension of our capabilities to meet the local needs of the South East Australian market will provide a competitive proposition to our customers in the renewable energy industry in this region,” said Conergy’s Managing Director, Rodger Meads.
The move to the new office constitutes an important step in Conergy’s operations in the fast growing Australian renewable energy market, enabling the company to service its Victorian, South Australian and Tasmanian customers even faster with Photovoltaic and Solar Thermal products. The locally based state manager Derek Marsden brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the renewable energy market:
Rodger Meads, said ”Derek Marsden, State Manager in Victoria for Solar Power Systems, is an experienced professional manager having worked nationally and internationally providing complex power supply solutions to the domestic, industrial and commercial sectors”. Derek has for many years successfully built and managed wholesale and distributor networks but prides himself on his “hands on” approach. Derek holds an Electrical Mechanics License, Electrical Engineering Degree as well as Commercial qualifications and is well equipped to support his customers.
Derek has experienced sales support in the new office with Solar Sales Account Manager, Frank Unferdorben. Frank brings over 17 years of experience in Business to Business Sales and retail Management, focusing on Customer Service, Training, and Project Management. Frank was most recently Solar Manager for one of Australia’s most active and successful Air-conditioning and Solar Hot Water distributors. He spent the past 3 years working closely with the Victorian building industry and installers to provide solar thermal systems for builders projects and residential customers, covering Vic, S.A, and Tas, his strong foundation in Solar hot water systems sees him well experienced to support our growing solar thermal dealer network.
The new office is also supported by Leanne Raymond who manages the sales administration and Mark Harrison, who manages the warehouse.
