Conergy strengthens its international position in solar thermal market

Through the acquisition of thermosyphon systems producer Cap-Aus Pty Ltd, the Conergy Group, Europe’s largest solar company, is continuing to establishing its customer-oriented brand in the Australian market and beyond.

“This purchase will allow Conergy to expand its business, especially into the Asian and Southern European markets.” said Hans-Martin Rüter, CEO and founder of Conergy AG. “The cost efficient technology as displayed in the Cap-Aus product has a share of over 80% of the worldwide solar hot water market. It perfectly compliments the product range of Conergy’s existing premium solar thermal systems.” he added.

The experienced Cap-Aus team led by the industry specialists Rodger Meads, Mal Hayes and Hans Brekelmans has solid backgrounds in the areas of product development and establishment of distribution networks for solar heat pumps and solar thermal systems. The experienced Cap-Aus managers bring a wealth of technical knowledge amassed over 20 years in the Australian solar thermal industries.
